Why Does Perfumemania not sell Velocity perfume?
I asked the store person
and i checked online, and i couldn’t find it
and when i asked the store person
they just responded automaticly
like they knew without looking
and it wasn’t online
btw it is

it smells awesome!
Velocity is a fragrance that is sold exclusively by Mary Kay. Perfumania would not (and cannot) sell a fragrance by private companies like Mary Kay and Avon. They don’t even sell store-brand fragrances like Victoria’s Secret, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Hollister.
The reason is Perfumania is like a Macy’s “outlet store.” They get the overstock of fragrances from department stores (Macy’s, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus) and sell them at a discount rate.
The employee answered you automatically because it’s common sense that Perfumania would not sell exclusive fragrances by Mary Kay and Avon … you’ll have to go to the Mary Kay website or find a local representative.
P.S. After working there for more than a year, I too was able to answer questions like that without looking … you kinda learn the merchandise after a while. They weren’t being rude, they probably just knew the store very well.
